$60 per player.
Entry Instructions
No entries accepted after 9am Saturday 21st October 2023 or when full.
Only first 50 fully paid player entries accepted due to space constraints.
All entries and payments must be made online with TryBooking (available from 8pm 3rd March 2023) or through using the form below. Multiple players may be entered in the same booking, simply select number of players (tickets).
Name of player entered would be listed in Vega Results. Link also available in Results section of this webpage.
Please contact us if name is not listed more than a day after submission.
New Zealand chess players who participate in more than one NZCF rated event in a year must be a member of a chess club that is affiliated or associated with NZCF (New Zealand Chess Federation). The Mount Maunganui RSA Chess Club offers memberships that fulfill this requirement from just $15.

Eligibility
Open to all players.
Non-NZL players must have FIDE ID issued by their chess federation.
NZL players without FIDE ID must provide full Date of Birth.
Only first 50 fully paid player entries accepted due to space constraints.
Format
6 round Swiss tournament, NZCF & FIDE rated where possible.
Time Controls
90 minutes each player plus 30 seconds increment per move from move one.

No prize giving ceremony would be held. Players may leave after their last game is completed.
Prizes would be paid to prize winners bank account online after the event.
Prize Fund
Two thirds of entry fees would be paid out as prizes. Prize distribution to be determined on the first day of the tournament.
PLEASE NOTE:
- No player may claim more than one prize.
- In the event of a tie, prize money will be shared.
Players eligible for Open,or Grade Prize(s), would receive the highest monetary value prize.
