Entry Fees
$20 per player.
Entry Instructions
Entries need to be submitted before the day of the tournament to secure your place as entries in excess of 40 players will be limited.
Otago Chess Club Club account for payment: 03-0905-0169820-00 (state name as reference). Cash payment can also be made on tournament day.

New Zealand chess players who participate in more than one NZCF rated event in a year must be a member of a chess club that is affiliated or associated with NZCF (New Zealand Chess Federation). The Mount Maunganui RSA Chess Club offers memberships that fulfill this requirement from just $15.

Travel Arrangements
Eligibility
Open to all players.
Space for more than 40 players will be limited.
Format
6 round Swiss tournament, NZCF rated where possible.
Time Controls
20 minutes each player with 5 seconds delay per move (Bronstein).
Schedule
Otago Chess Club opens for entries at 11am.
Entries are accepted up until players meeting at 12pm.
Games will commence at 12.30pm.
Prize giving would be at approximately 5.30pm.
Prize Fund
To be advised on the day of the tournament.
