FIDE100 Super Blitz 2024 is part of FIDE’s Guinness Book of Records attempt at a world record for the most number of chess games played in 24 hours. FIDE100 Super Blitz 2024 would be held on Saturday 20th July at “Top of the Park”, Alexandra Park, Auckland.

Entry Details
Entry Fees
$25 per player.
Entry Instructions
New Zealand Chess Federation (NZCF) account for payment: 01 0535 0073257 00 (state name and reference “SuperBlitz”).
Use online entry form to enter.
New Zealand chess players who participate in more than one NZCF rated event in a year must be a member of a chess club that is affiliated or associated with NZCF (New Zealand Chess Federation). The Mount Maunganui RSA Chess Club offers memberships that fulfill this requirement from just $15.

Travel Arrangements
Eligibility
Open to all players.
Non-NZL players must have FIDE ID issued by their chess federation.
NZL players without FIDE ID must provide full Date of Birth.
Format
11 round Swiss tournament, FIDE rated where possible.
Time Controls
3 minutes each player plus 2 seconds increment per move from move one.
Schedule
Players meeting at 11.45am Saturday 20th July 2024. Round 1 starts at 12pm.
Prize Fund
Book prizes (donated by Dr. Helen Milligan and Paul Spiller). All participants will receive a special FIDE certificate of participation.
