Eligibility
Restricted to players rated under 1800.
Non-NZL players must have FIDE ID issued by their chess federation.
NZL players without FIDE ID must provide full Date of Birth.
Format
Summit Rookies/Junior Rapid December 2022 comprise two 6 round Swiss tournaments.
Open division will be NZCF & FIDE Rapid rated where possible, restricted to players with both FIDE and NZCF rating under1800.
U1000 division will be NZCF Rapid rated, restricted to players with both FIDE and NZCF rating under 1000 and under 16 years old.
Time Controls
15 minutes each player plus 5 seconds increment per move from move one.
