$20 per player.

Entry Instructions

Entries need to be submitted by  Saturday 3rd December 2022.

Otago Chess Club Club account for payment: 03-0905-0169820-00 (state name & “SummerRpd”). Cash payment can also be made on 4th December 2022.

New Zealand chess players who participate in 2 or more NZCF rated events in a year must be a member of a chess club that is affiliated or associated with NZCF (New Zealand Chess Federation). The Mount Maunganui RSA Chess Club offers memberships that fulfill this requirement from just $10.

Eligibility

Open to all players.

Format

5 round Swiss tournament, NZCF rated where possible.

Time Controls

25 minutes each player with 5 seconds move delay (Bronstein) per move from move one.

Schedule

On Sunday 4th December 2022, club opens for entries at 11am.

Entries are accepted up until players meeting at 12pm.

Games will commence at 12.30pm.

Prize giving would be at approximately 5.30pm.
