IM Sims Memorial Rapid 2021
2nd I.M. Sims Memorial Rapid 2021 is a chess tournament held on Sunday 16th May 2021 at the Takaro Bowling Club, 2-14 Featherston Street, Palmerston North. It is a NZCF Rapid rated where possible, 6 round Swiss tournament that is held in memory of the late Ian Martin Sims.

Entry Fees
$50 per player Open Event.
$20 per player Under 18 Junior Event.
$10 extra for late entries after 12pm Friday 14th May 2021.

Non-NZL players must have FIDE ID issued by their chess federation.
NZL players without FIDE ID must provide full Date of Birth.

6 round Swiss tournament, NZCF Rapid rated where possible.
Time Control
25 minutes each player plus 5 seconds increment per move from move one.
