GM Masterclasses with Dejan Bojkov
The NZ Olympiad team coach GM Dejan Bojkov is currently visiting NZ and we have been able to arrange some seminar and coaching opportunities while he is here. With the support of the Auckland Chess Centre who have generously offered the use of their playing rooms there will be GM Masterclasses on the Saturday and Sunday afternoons of the coming weekend. The two classes are linked but could also be attended individually if someone is unable to attend both days. There is a limit on the number of places available which will be on a first come basis.
This is a unique opportunity for NZ players of all ages to learn with a top level international trainer.

Sunday 2nd February

Evaluating Positions and Planning
- How to evaluate and assess positions
- Short term planning
- Applying Dorfman’s method of evaluating positions
Cost:
Each Seminar will cost $55. If a player attends both seminars the cost will be $100 in total. Family discounts are available for multiple attendees from one family.
