Entry Fees
$60 Adults, $45 Juniors under 20 years.
Entry Instructions
Entries close Thursday 17th September 2026.
Club account for payment: 15-3942-0001596-00 (state “RAPID” for Particulars and give last name and initials as Reference).
Use online entry form to enter.
New Zealand chess players who participate in any NZCF rated event must be a member of a chess club that is affiliated or associated with NZCF (New Zealand Chess Federation). The Mount Maunganui RSA Chess Club offers memberships that fulfill this requirement from just $20 per year.

Open to all players.
Players must have FIDE ID issued by their chess federation.
Format
6 round Swiss tournament that may be FIDE rated.
Time Controls
25 minutes each player plus 5 seconds increment per move from move one.

Prize Fund
85% of income after expenses will be paid as prizes with a Minimum Prize fund of $1,500 and a first prize of $350
