New Zealand chess players who participate in more than one NZCF rated event in a year must be a member of a chess club that is affiliated or associated with NZCF (New Zealand Chess Federation). The Mount Maunganui RSA Chess Club offers memberships that fulfill this requirement from just $15.

Travel Arrangements
Eligibility
Open to all female chess players.
Non-NZL players must have FIDE ID issued by their chess federation.
NZL players without FIDE ID must provide full Date of Birth.
Format
6 round Swiss tournament, NZCF & FIDE rated where possible.
For the purposes of pairings and grade prizes, NZCF standard ratings will be used. Where players do not have a published NZCF or FIDE standard rating, the Chief Arbiter may assign a rating at their discretion.
Time Controls
90 minutes each player plus 30 seconds increment per move from move one.

Note: Players who have not checked in by 8:30am Saturday 9th November 2024 may not be paired for round one. Players should check in by arriving at the venue before 8:30 am where possible or by sending a text message to the organizer by 8:30 am (mobile number +64 27 915 9805).
Half Point Byes
Players may take a half-point bye in any of the first four rounds (max 1 per player) – please advise by emailing [email protected] after entering.
Prize Fund
Total prize fund of $1,550 is guaranteed.
