$25 Junior tournament

$10 Late Fee if payment not received by Monday 8th February 2021.

Entries without payment are treated as late and can be paid in cash up to 9am Saturday 13th February 2021.

New entries may be accepted on the day of play at the discretion of the organiser.

Eligibility

Open to all players.

Non-NZL players must have FIDE ID issued by their chess federation.

NZL players without FIDE ID must provide full Date of Birth.

Format

Three 6 round Swiss tournaments, NZCF and FIDE rated where possible.

  1. A tournament for players rated 1800 or higher.
  2. B tournament for players rated below 1800.
  3. Junior tournament for players rated below 1200 and under the age of 20 before 1st January 2021.

 

The organiser reserves the right to move a player to a different tournament category.

Time Control

25 minutes each player plus 5 seconds increment per move from move one.

Refreshments

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided at no charge through out the tournament.

Prize giving as soon as possible after last game completed.
